How do I wire the thermostat correctly?

you most likely have blown the diodes in the new stat.get another one. when installing the stat.first turn off the switch on the furnace.[looks like a lite switch].tape the ends of ;c' leave off.'rcand rh are power to the heat and cool circut hook red to rc and run a jumper to rh .turn the power back on ............good luck ...tony ata31254@yahoo.com.if you have a problem
