What can i use as opening prayer for a fundraising event?

i was igned by the club officers to lead the opening prayer for our annual swim-a-thon. it's an event in which we swim as many laps as we can to raise funds for charities. the amount of money we get depends on how many laps we make. i really need help please. im really bad in english so i need help. a prayer for perseverance and a prayer for us to use our talents in swimming to help the poor. also to make the event successful.
