Do you think I'm overreacting?

my bf is in the navy and we've been doing the Long distance thing since 08. I had a rough couple of weeks and i told him about it. I was hoping for some words of encouragement or comfort but all he said was "awww baby i wish i was there to help you." that's it. So, do you think i should be upset that he didn't say more? How can I let him know I'm annoyed without being petty
