Stepmom pregnant when I was going to anounce my news?!?

I can totally understand how you feel-like you've been robbed of a special moment. However, your news IS still special no matter what so don't let their news rob you of your joy. Also, keep in mind that they didn't mean to spoil your moment b/c they had no idea. As for baby names, when someone asks there is nothing wrong with saying that you are keeping it a "surprise." Also, just because her due date is the same does not mean the babies will really be born that day. MOST kids are not born on their actual due date. If by chance they are, you can always tell your dad and step mom that you want your child to have their own special party so that he/she will know just how important it is to you and your husband to celebrate his/her birth.
