What do you think is better? Scion tC or an SRT-4?

I already have a 1972 Chevelle but with the price of gas going up, I'm looking at saving that car for weekends and as a track car. I would like an Import to drive around for fun and for the saving on gas. I know that an SRT-4 comes w/ a stock turbo but it takes premium gas. A Scion tC takes regular but is not as fast and they are close to being the same price. I could probably have more fun with an SRT but a tC is a great car that is really dependable from the stories I have heard. I'm looking at getting one of these but kinda stumped on which one. Looking to keep it for a while and make it faster than what it comes stock. Better turbo, Intake, Exhaust, Intercooler, Headers, lowering kit, some interior and exterior work. Nothing too major but something that'll be pretty fast and dependable. I would love to do all this to my Chevelle but I can't take that out a lot with about 8 miles to the gallon demanding premium gas with such a big tank with gas prices rising everyday. Thanks.
