Why did he do this? Is he gay?

So I invited a friend to play video games at my house but when he arrived I was shirtless, so we started playing and I noticed that he was almost constantly looking at my abs and somewhat trying to be discrete. After that, we were joking about something so he pushed me IN THE ABS and I fell down because we were playing on my bed. So is he gay or what???
